Could your organisation benefit from some of the opportunities Changemakers has

to offer young volunteers from the Northumberland area?

Together, we can create volunteering opportunities that reflect young people’s

interests, passions and skills and that are valuable for organisations.

Working alongside v, an independent charity set up in 2006 to champion youth volunteering, Changemakers aims to inspire a new generation of young people aged 16-25 to volunteer by:

  • working with organisations who share our young person led ethos;
  • supporting organisations' understanding of policies and legislation affecting working with volunteers;
  • providing signposting to available funding streams and support where possible, to help get young volunteer projects off the ground.

We are working to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of volunteering opportunities available to young people. If you have existing volunteers aged between 16-25 in your organisation, we can work with them to develop their own community projects and ideas and to recognise their achievements and contribution.

If you have any young people who would benefit from getting involved in volunteering opportunities please contact John Percival at Changemakers on 0191 226 7330 or john@changemakers.org.uk

If you have an opportunity that you would like to recruit young people into or would like more information about vinvolved, please contact Emma Kemp at on 0191 226 7330 or emma@changemakers.org.uk
