Tuesday 27th
July
Join park staff in a hunt for creepy crawlies and wild wigglies. We will be searching in the
woods and in the meadow. Wear long sleeves, trousers and bring sun protection. Time: 11.00am and 1.30pm, each session last
1.5hours, for ages 5yrs+

Thursday 29th
July
Make and cook food on an open campfire. We'll be making the classic "Twizzels"
and "Fire Cake". All materials provided. Ages 6yrs and over, two 1.5hr sessions: 11am and 1.30pm. *BOOKINGS ONLY*

Saturday 31st July
Join the River
Bailiff on a search for the elusive Otter. Spot their tracks, signs and other wildlife. A three mile walk along the River
Blyth. Will involve some River walking! Dress for mess. Ages 12yrs and over, BOOKINGS ONLY on 01670 824793

Build insect homes to help them survive the winter in your garden. Ages 5yrs and over, two

Build, decorate and hopefully fly your own kite in the beautiful surroundings of Plessey Woods

Come and here about the bats of
Plessey then enjoy a walk around the woods to see what we can find using bat detectors. Drinks and biscuits included. Children

Go on the unnatural trail, learn about hte use of camouflage in nature, get camouflaged up and see if you can blend
into the woods. Ages 6yrs and over. 11.00am & 1.30pm each approximatley lasting 1 hours 30 minutes

Make a wooden pirate ship to sail
and race on the River Blyth. Prize for the fastest boat. Wellies advisable, pirate costume optional. Ages 5yrs and over, two

Look into the depths of the pond and discover who lives there. Time: 11.00am and 1.30pm each session lasts approximatley
1.5 hours, for ages 6+

Thursday 19th August
Become an apprentice Robin Hood. Make your own bow and arrow, then join with the Green Lane
Archers and learn how to shoot accurately at targets with your own bow and sports bow. All materials and equipment provided.

Make clay creatures, fire in an
outdoor kiln then make and bake your own pizza in the traditional way, in our home made clay ovens. Sessions start at 11.00am
